Welcome to Field Joys. My journey began in 2018 with an inspiring trip to Spain, where I met with remarkable producers and tasted wines that truly spoke of their sense of place. This experience ignited my desire to delve deeper into the world of wine, leading eventually to Portugal in 2022 and a six-month stint in Australia in 2023, where I connected with producers dedicated to low-intervention winemaking and environmental stewardship.
Upon return from Australia, my wine-loving journey took a hands-on turn, when I participated in the winemaking process during harvest in Sonoma. This immersive experience not only deepened my understanding of winemaking but also reinforced my belief in the importance of community and shared experiences around wine.
I started Field Joys because I believe that wine is best enjoyed with friends, over delicious food and great music. It's about creating moments that bring people together, celebrating the simple joys of life.
I only partner with producers who value sustainability and excellence, advocating for minimal intervention techniques to preserve the unique qualities of each vineyard and grape. I’m committed to promoting environmentally responsible practices from the field to the shelf.
